Boating is fun, this is one of my favorite outdoor recreation. Many people love boating. Since we live far away in the ocean, so we hardly seen one but in the other side of Colorado where the lakes and rivers are, we can see people boating and go fishing. When it comes to boating, we always want to be safe that’s why we need to be responsible. Driving while drinking alcohol is really not a good idea. This is very dangerous, you’re not only endangered those people on board but you also endangered yourself. Like driving cars or any kind of transportations such as planes, motorcycle, boat and more, drinking alcohol is not permitted. This is against the law.
In Arizona they provide Saturation Patrols and OUI Checkpoints. If they caught you driving a boat and you are in the influence of alcohol, you will get a penalties and be arrested. Operating a boat under the influence is a Class One misdemeanor. Officers from the Arizona Game and Fish Department and bordering states of California and Nevada conduct saturation patrols.
