Former President of the Philippines Cory Aquino died at the age of 76

I been in my computer this morning and I didn’t noticed the latest news in the Philippines about what happen to the former President Cory Aquino. My husband just told me tonight when he was online. I am kind a shocked of course. Cory Aquino died at the age of 76. She died of cardio-respiratory arrest at 3:18 am Saturday at the Makati Medical Center. It said she has been diagnosed with colon cancer early in 2008 and has been confined for more than a month at Makati Medical Center. My father also died with colon cancer. It makes me sad about what happen to her because it reminds me of my father. Life is very precious that’s why we need to take care of our health. I am sure Aquino’s family are very sad about what happen. Cory Aquino will always be remembered. She is one of the great President in the Philippines. I admired her a lot. She is a strong woman.

Regine Velasquez has influenza virus?

I was shocked this morning when I read the yahoo news about Regine Velasquez, tested positive for the influenza virus A(H1N1). That’s kind a scary! It was a relief when I read that she’s fine now. She recovered right away after 10 days and that’s a good thing. Regine is one of my favorite singer and I still love her voice until now. I am sure it scares her when she found out the results. That virus killed many people in the other country and in the Philippines? The Department of Health has recorded a total of 1,709 confirmed a influenza virus cases. Wow, that’s a lot already. That’s why we need to be careful and eat healthy food so that we wont be effected with this influenza virus that they called A(H1N1).
