While where doing our grocery shopping at the Filipino Store, I heard one of their customers talking about “Lechon”. They are asking if there is Lechon available here in the Grand Junction area and the owner said there is. But it’s expensive and you can order it at Montrose. I am not totally sure where in Montrose but they said it’s not as good as the Philippine Lechon style. I’m starting to think about it and start missing it. It’s been 2 years since I didn’t eat my favorite roasted pig (lechon baboy). It was 2 years ago when we buy lechon at the store but not a whole pig. We just bought like 3-4 kilos of chopped lechon. I really missed it and I’m hoping that if ever we will come back again in the Philippines, I will absolutely buy a whole roasted pig and bring it at the beach together with my family!
