making snow angel...

Watching daddy making a snow angel seems very fun but I didn't try it anyway because  its way too cold for me, we got about 6-8 inches of snow last week and until now the snow didn't melt yet but since the temperature this week will be in 40's so I guess the snow will start to melt. Hopefully. Well, we had a lot of fun, we walk in our backyard to the side gate and walk in the alley and see how it looks in the back. It was cold but the kids really having fun. My husband made them a little cave for them to play. I am sure will have a lot of fun in our new home and will try our best to give the kids the best adventure of their life. :-)



Paying bills

When we got married, I told my husband that I would take on the responsibility of paying our bills. He had essentially no credit when we got married, so most of the bills had to be in my name anyway. I would sit down with the checkbook twice per month and spend about an hour organizing and paying the bills. It was not until recently that I asked him to take over because I was feeling overwhelmed. The first thing he did when he took over was to go to the library and search “4G internet Doyle” because he said that we needed internet so he could set up online bill pay. I do not know why I did not think of that. It probably would have made my life much easier and less stressful. He got the internet set up pretty quickly, and I am glad we have it now because I have wanted it for quite a while. I look forward to being able to check my email from home, among other things. I will probably not volunteer to take over the bills again any time soon.

Buying a House

Buying a house with my boyfriend was the scariest thing I ever did – were we going to get married? What if we broke up? But at the end of the day it’s turned out amazing and the good news is that we ARE getting married next month and we already own our dream home! I love being part of the team that we are and he’s just been so great during this whole process even though my family’s not crazy about the situation. We got wireless internet Kitsap when we moved here so I could email them (we get in less arguments when I email rather than calling) and I also did some therapy to try and figure out new ways to deal with my mom who I have the most trouble with. Getting this place was great for my confidence and working on it’s been amazing, too. I love that there are so many ways for us to come together on this massive project and at the end of the day it’s going to make us money!

More snow in our new place!

We're here already in our new place, this photo taken in our backyard, that's the back view of the house. It's a ranch style home with 3 bed, 2 bath and 3 car garage. It was a nice house, just right for us. As you can see, we got more snow here than in Grand Junction. Until now the snow didn't melt yet and at night, the temperature always drop down to negative, so it was pretty cold.

We got snow!

This is how it looks like this morning in the back and front yard. We got a little snow, about an inch I guess. Not so much but it melts right away in the afternoon. It was so wet and muddy. Well better than frozen one because I don't like it when the road is frozen, it's way too slippery for me to drive. It's pretty though and Dana can't wait to go out and play in the snow!

My Pinay Friends!

This are the photo we took last week when my friends visit me.
